ABC has set spring premiere dates for two of its series, “The Bachelorette” and “Mistresses.”
“The Bachelorette,” ABC’s powerhouse looking-for-love reality show, will return first on Monday, May 20 with a 9-11pm premiere. Season 9 of the show will move to its regular time-slot of Mondays from 8-10pm starting the following week on May 27.
The identity of the upcoming “Bachelorette” will be revealed on Monday, March 11, during “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose” special t 10-11pm. There are, however, rumors circulating about the lucky lady’s name — click here to find out who might be looking for love this spring.
“Mistresses” is a new, scripted show that will premiere its first season on Monday, June 3rd from 10-11pm. Starring Alyssa Milano, Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes and Jes Macallan, this sexy (and sex-filled) program follows the lives of four female friends as they negotiate forbidden romances and life. “Mistresses” is based on a British series of the same name.
The two spring/summer shows will replace “Dancing with the Stars” and “Castle” when those two series end their season runs. Considering the subject matter of the premiering series, Monday nights will be either the best or the worst thing for women this summer.
